Globalization has made internationalization of businesses necessary and today the majority of Italian companies maintain business relationships with multinational corporations from all over the world. This change in the working environment caused more demand for people to have expertise in English.

Presentations, conference calls, negotiations, meetings and small talk in English are becoming part of everyday work life. In such situations, linguistic accuracy plays an important role in working effectively but so does the level of confidence one has in using it.
During meetings with colleagues from Anglo Saxon countries or clients from Northern European countries who usually have very high levels of English, it can become difficult to clearly deliver messages due to one’s lack of confidence. This can have an influence on how business is carried out and can sometimes even cause negative outcomes.
